We went to Wave Rock at the Falls tonight in search of shorebirds. The water is as low as it's been all year. Despite the persistence of an adult Peregrine Falcon which sat on the main portion of Wave Rock for over an hour, we managed to locate a few interesting birds. Birds of interest: Black-bellied Plover - 1 Stilt Sandpiper - 1 Semipalmated Plover - 1 Buff-breasted Sandpiper - 1 Pectoral Sandpiper - 1 Lots of peeps to far away to identify. An Osprey did a fly over and at dusk, 20 plus Nighthawks were overhead. Tom and Colleen Becker ________________________________________________________________________ Email and AIM finally together.
