Location:???? Falls of the Ohio (IN) Observation date:???? 8/12/09 Notes:???? Sorry for the late post.? We met up with Peggy Renn and Tom Slodoski at the Falls on Wednesday evening, August 12. We found? very few shorebirds but new for the season were Semipalmated Plovers and a Pectoral Sandpiper.? We also found 5 Caspian Terns that had not been there a few days before.? There is very little water coming through the castellations.? We suspect this will create very little habitat for shorebirds.
