     So the covered walkway is so you don't have to slog through
the snow to get to/from the telescope, yes?  
     The parallel of the 'Looking back at Tucson' shot with 
Mount Wilson is remarkable.  Clean desert air!
     Folks might be interested to know that the Catalina Schmidt
is presently the most productive telescope in the world as far as
near-Earth asteroid discoveries (and comets, too).  Amongst us
long-time telescope-operators Rik Hill is well-known as the the
guy who did almost all the observing with the Burrell Schmidt
at Kitt Peak, completing several major spectral surveys (the last
ones, actually) during the 1980s with that instrument.
