You may want to keep the 5mW green laser for use at star parties where they
are allowed. The 15mW will definitely annoy more people than the 5mW
version.

Couldn't find the discount link but went ahead and ordered a "Wicked" 15mW.
I also had picked up a 5 mW at Fry's electronics but it's too dim for my
wife to see well when we're around semi dark areas (close street lights etc)
but worked okay in darker areas. The Fry's unit was $98 with tax the Wicked
is $118 with shipping so $20 for 3 times the power! The Fry's unit is going
back.

That's cuz you don't know me I guess! I got the 15mW laser a couple months
ago
and talked up Wickedlasers around for a while. The website is a hoot. It was
about $115 and it really beats the typical green laser. I used the link thru
Yahoo Shopping to get a 7% discount, don't know if it's still there.

I
don't know anyone that's ordered from them though.

were one can pick up a green laser pointer. I find that when I have the MRS.
out during our backyard astro sessions that it can be a bit difficult to
convey things at times (constellations, etc.) So a pointer would definitely
help...
