Howdy all; Well, we had a small star party at the Antennas site last night. There were 8 vehicles and a dozen observers. The sky changed from mediocre to pretty good as the evening progressed, but the wind never really died off and occaisonally would really whip up and be chilly. However, we did get quite a bit done. I observed some clusters and nebulae in Taurus with the TV 102 refractor. Joe Goss and Rich Walker were observing some galaxies in Ursa Major. Tim and Bob were viewing a variety of objects along the Milky Way, I know Bob is doing the last 100 or so objects he needs for the Herschel 400 certificate. I did not get over to view with Charlie Whiting, but he was there also. I am ashamed to say that I have forgotten the names of the astrophotographers, but there were getting some nice results from a Hyperstar rig and a new camera. I have been camping here in the Winnebago since the Super Bowl and last night was the best evening so far. AJ is planning on coming out later and staying for two nights, by then the Moon will be thick enough that I will tear down and return to civilization. I do hope to get some photos during the next two nights, we shall see. Clear skies to us all; Steve Coe -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
