I am assuming you want to create files you can move? Is file size or type
the problem?

The best way I have found to get Visio images or diagrams into other
documentation Jill, is to select the image content you need and turn them
into jpeg files or wmf files (wmf seems better if they are to go into word).
Visio loses data if you save the component bits into images, reducing file
size.

1. Select components you require in the drawing by click and drag or other
relevant method (shift and click on bits and pieces works too).
2. Click File > Save As.
3. Select the file type from the list and type in a file name.

What is the best way to reduce the size of v complicated and v large visio
diagrams. I need to put them into a Frame document?? Never had this trouble
before and have tried everything I can think of - including turning them
into PDFs - but there must be a better way. Thanks Jill
