I have come across it and I found the reason and I'm blowed if I can
remember what it was. It was one of those "I must remember that for future
reference" things.
Sorry not to be more helpful - but it is Friday afternoon....

Subject: [austechwriter] Last Try - Word not saving

OK - now that I am able to type a normal message I will try again! =
Sorry about that people I have no idea what weird and wonderful things =
my mail is doing.

I have a document that just won't save in Word. No error message or =
anything - just click on Save or Save As and nothing happens.

As a last resort I have moved the content into a new document and I can =
save that, but there is some reformatting to be done, image alignment =
and numbered lists etc.

Was wondering if anyone had come across this before and had any ideas? =
It just seems to be that one document.
