Hi Robbie
With Audacity compressor, I usually have some second at the start of file
softer than the rest. Do you have this problem, also know how to solve it?

I find that Audacity's standard compressor's default settings work quite
well for me. Here's the manual link.

You can also achieve good results with the SC4 compressor. However, you
need
to do some fiddling until you arrive at the parameters that suit your
voice
and preference.
