I ripped the entire album as one track and would like to break it into
tracks. I was just wondering if I could record future albums, or cassettes
by pressing spacebar at the end of track 1, say, and then immediately press
shift-r before the next track starts. I would end up with 11 or 12 or
whatever tracks when I was done. I'll try your keystrokes. Thanks.
It would be far more efficient to record the entire album in one go and
separate the tracks manually wherever the silences occur. After the track
ends, simply move the cursor to that position and select to the beginning of
the track, cut your selection, open a new file or track and paste it. This
way, you don't have to worry about pressing
Shift+R before the new track begins during playback.
