Yes, there are Scripps. Yes, they are free. The reason your turntable turns
jaws speechoff is that if it is a USB device, jaws automatically switches to
that though there is no speaker out for Jaws to Come through. This may be
difficult to switch back if you do not have sighted assistance. One way is to
unplug the turntable, then Jaws goes back to its original settings. This does
not help anything if you are wanting to use the turntable for recording. My
suggestion is to get NVDA on your computer as a back up. You can turn on NVDA,
change jaws back to the original sound card, then turn NVDA off. Jaws Will then
be coming through your normal speakers at this point.
