I don't know if the Audacity selection works properly in some cases. Set the
audacity setting to MME, I believe, for the source. Then work directly with
the Windows Volume control for setting the source. I don't see why the sound
card being used would have anything to do with the problem. Also, I recorded
using audacity with a realtech sound card a few years ago using Windows XP.

Hi.
Is there any other of you who has a realtek soundcard?
does this work for you?
If I don't get this to work soon I'l switch to goldwave, that works fine.

Hi.
I'm trying to record in audacity.
but I don't get any recording at all.
I select the device that I want to record from, press the record
shortcut, but nothing happens.
I stop the record, and then press play. nothing at all.
What can be wrong here?
/Kristoffer
