Yes, you're right. I understand it uses the same principles!
When I try using !Jcut (and hence jpegtran) it fails unless I run them
using AmulatorPro. Is there a newer version of jpegtran that I can use
which doesn't have this limitation?
Yes. www.timil.com/riscos and its software desperately needs updating but
there are links to other J-related stuff for other hardware which others
have updated.
