My ARMbook has Manjaro. But as far as I can tell, the latest KDE Neon is based
on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, which will receive security updates for 5 years. Don't
know what the previous KDE Neon was based on, but non-LTS versions of Ubuntu
only get updates for 9 months. The KDE part though will continue to get updates
— at least for a time — even if the "base" doesn't.
It's often been regarded as a bit tricky to update distro version using the
package manager — some Ubuntu derivatives prevent it. But in the case of the
ARMbook I don't know whether a full install is possible. I suggest looking at
Pine's own website: www.pine64.org

Mine is on KDE Neon 5.19 User Edition.
I did a big update (300+ items) 2-3 weeks ago. Today Discover is offering
19 updates, 18 system and Firefox, which I am updating.
