I have an ARMbook with Manjaro-ARM. Just over a week ago I updated to
the latest version. The next day the wifi did not work - possibly
nothing to do with the update. I logged into the Manjaro forum and
got a lot of help; reloaded the drivers. In the end I was signed out
as having a hardware problem. So I tried the Pine64 forum, where I
learned that in the Pinebook (as opposed to the Pinebook Pro) there
are no firmware privacy switches. I am still in doubt as to whether
the wifi chip really is broken. Does anybody have any suggestions
how to get wifi back? The ethernet2usb cable gives an internet
connection alright, and other devices use wifi, so the problem
is definitely in the Armbook. No wireless access points are visible
to it.
