I think we needed some better instructions on how to install SP12-test.
It is the same process that has worked well for the last few years for
SPs. I think we just need to tune things a bit. This is why it is a
test/beta.
However, you're right to mention SparkFS, as users may have bought the
full version. I will consider treating it like !Fireworkz where the
application is provided separately.
I'll compare !Printers versions and see if the clean-up script needs
further updating. I'm not aware of internal changes to !Printers, but I
may have missed something. I've already dealt with the issue that
affected Chris Hughes when he manually updated, but I'll look to see if
there's something else lurking there too.
I'll contact Chris separately for a copy of his 1.85 that was causing
problems.
As an aside, the release version will contain new versions of !HID etc as
well as (all being well) a new !StrongEd with fixes for high resolution
screen modes.
