The above refers to the size of the new "disk image".
There is also a full back up and a Boot back up on the SD.
Totalling 85,292,995,973 bytes.
The start up screens are as follows:
Blank
Init mod
Error message & grey screen
cancel once disc icons appear
cancel twice Blank
Full desktop appears
Organiser says 1,809M
