Mike, you could compare the measurements with the profile output of the same Cmyk colours. This is possible in ICC Examin with feeding the profile + the ti3 files at once. You should then be able to select from the main window "View"->"Quality Report". But the relyability is a bit reduced as these values where formerly used for profiling. A clever profiler may try to optimise for just the measurements and pays bad for other colour areas. So take such comparision with a grain of salt. Better is to test with a extra set of measurements not used for profiling and compare how these play. ICC Examin, and similiar tool, will report much more relyable then. regards Kai-Uwe Behrmann + development for color management + imaging / panoramas + email: ku.b@xxxxxx + http://www.behrmann.name Am 10.11.06, 02:37 -0800 schrieb Mike Russell: > I'm chasing down a problem with creating an inkjet profile. > > It seems to me that one method would be to compare the patches from the ti3 > file with their nominal values from the ti1 file, looking for any with a very > large differences.
