Under Windows, spotread fails after 4 readings (log 5)
On Linux, it went on up to 875 readings before asking for the sensor
re-calibration.

Spotread certainly doesn't fail with the i1pro Rev A after 4 readings
(or any small number) running on my MSWin machine. I would have
notices a long time ago, since I often test things using spotread.
Does it only do this when running via your java program ?
Was your machine busy or idle ?

Okay, I managed to reproduce the same failure under Windows on a
powerful computer with i1Pro Rev D as well.
You can find the log in logs/log-8
This is with 12 simultaneous threads to load the CPU; it works just
fine on Linux until the calibration expires.

However this is an issue I report because it made sequences of
measurements fail with no special load or other program running on the
computers.
You know, just stopping to work randomly and unpredictably in normal conditions.

I hope the new stress test code will allow you to reproduce it as
well, and maybe help to find how to make Windows's spotread just as
solid as it is already on Linux and Mac :)
