Did you check the values the sensor returned? With projectors, you have to 
be carefull to be in a realistic range, to avoid clipping or too low 
levels, which both lead to strange results. Try to move the sensor 
from/toward the screen (or the projector, depending how you are taking 
measures, direct or reflected), to get white value arround 100cd/m², as 
for standard monitors.

I think it is very difficult to get such value with a reflected measure; 
that's why we put the sensor toward the projector, using the diffusor for 
ambiant light measurement. This gives good results.
