Yes, 'non-so-linear' was referenced to the other values, which are the
same line but with a different slope. In fact the linear curve should
have 2^16=65536 (65535 because we start from 0 instead of 1) as last
value.

Why the default curve loaded in the system is not the linear one
(which is also the Argyll/Spectraview one)?
The way I obtained those strange values is not by pressing the "reset"
button, but unistalling every color management program and rebooting
the system!
