Edmund,
They published a couple of basic papers,
http://www.gujinwei.org/research/camspec/camspec.pdf
http://www.gujinwei.org/research/camspec/supp.pdf
and some code to recover camera spectral sensitivity from a single shot of a
colour checker (and that was one of the main goals of the project) -

Searching for the names of authors + spectral will reveal more.
Point Grey Grasshopper2 is based on SONY ICX285, it is from the previous decade.
Hasselblad, I don't remember which one was used, sorry.
If the data is really borrowed, I think crediting the authors in CGATS would be
the right thing to do.
The setup was rather crude, but I started in 2002 from something much less, and
it worked, to my amazement.
A more polished setup was used by Maryam Darrodi

We use a cheap monochromator (compensating some of the uncertainty with a with
Hamamatsu spectrometer) and a sphere, also we use Xenon flashes in a strobe
mode - https://github.com/Alexey-Danilchenko/Spectron

Thank you -
I do wonder which Hasselblad is referenced in Ivan's link, and which Phase
and what a Point Grey Grasshopper is in yours :)
