I would welcome some advice on camera profiling.
Is it possible to use ArgyllCMS to find out if the camera response is
linear or not?
For a matrix-based profile, is the 24-patch colorchecker sufficient or
should I use a target with more patches? Can you recommend one in
particular?
If the camera response is found not to be linear (or if I assume that it
is not) then I take it that a table-based profile would be preferable.
Could you recommend a suitable target? Or would it be preferable to make
my own target with a large patch size?
