select by filter ----- Original Message ----- From: ziad To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 7:14 PM Subject: [amt] Re: please help search by filter or select by filter? ----- Original Message ----- From: sam To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 2:53 PM Subject: [amt] Re: please help you are right sheikh. I made a mistake. it's the other way around. when you open search by filter, click on non and then tick the note. in this way, you want to copy only the note in to the new project. bear in mind that you have to assign the midi channel one by one and respectively. for instance channel one for midi track one and so on. having said all that, this problem is very likely to do with the time you wanted create cct and tick or unpick the options in the open window, when you click on cct in the soft synth menu I THINK THERE IS AN OPTION WHICH IT ALLOWS US TO ASSIGN MORE THAN ONE INSTRUMENT TO ONE SOFT SYNTH. FOR INSTANCE FEW INSTRUMENT CAN BE ASSIGN ON CAKEWALKTTS. one of the thing which I think will sort out your problem would be... for each midi track you should create a different soft synth. for instance you have to assign cct1 for piano and then create another soft synth of cct or others and assign it to ACCORDION and so on when you create more than one time, it is ok. you will have the name of out put synth ended by number. for instance TTS1, tTTS2, and so on. regards ----- Original Message ----- From: ziad To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 10:48 AM Subject: [amt] Re: please help if i untick notes, nothing is plaied in the new project my friend ----- Original Message ----- From: sam To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 4:40 AM Subject: [amt] Re: please help so what I suggest is... select all tract again go to event view and like last time, tick every thing but note copy it to the board and paste them in a new project sonar has got bogs some time doing this sort of dancing my friend. by the way ask Ahmad to join to the list, maybe we can make this list bigger in the future and have good ideas and materials only suitable for the middle east musicians regards ----- Original Message ----- From: ziad To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 2:59 AM Subject: [amt] Re: please help well, my friend sassan gave excellent instructionbs but unfortunately, the problem is still there ----- Original Message ----- From: Ramy Moustafa To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 2:55 AM Subject: [amt] Re: please help ok so follow zaied, suggestions and tell us the results. ----- Original Message ----- From: ziad To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 3:52 AM Subject: [amt] Re: please help hi sheikh, what is their email address please? for those who want to know, i am using sonar and a midi keyboard controler. ----- Original Message ----- From: sam To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 2:19 AM Subject: [amt] Re: please help hi sheikh make sure that you give midi channel to each track individually and respectively. that has to be one of the most important reason if not solved, then it means that there have to be some midi information in event view which cause this changing. select all of tracks open the event view go to edit menu and choose select by filters from the select menu in the open click on all and then remove the tick from note. go to edit menu and choose delete I also advise you to subscribe in j sonar forum which there are much more handy people around. good luck ----- Original Message ----- From: ziad To: amt@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2007 12:39 AM Subject: [amt] please help hi guies, i am new to the computer music business and i hope someone could help me with my problem. i am using sonar 6 and i am working on a project. i have recorded the guitar, base, accordion and trumpet. during recording, i can hear the accordion and the trumpet but in playback, i hear a piano sound on both tracks but the base and guitar are heard ok. can anyone help solve this problem with many thanks in advance. ziad
