To get rid of solvy, my wife uses a handy dandy hand held 'steamer' she got when she bought an Oreck vacuum. It has a velcro like brush head-one poof of steam and usually the solvy is gone-and not enough moisture to damage fabric. Also gets rid of hoop burn instantly! Roland
