Every machine is different and will respond differently even though they may be the exact same model. Fabric has different weight and pile and also changes the equation. Certain thread colors will vary in response to the fabric type and thread color and weight, and the bobbin will vary each time so adjust it every time you change it. Always do a test sewout and there is no one size or setting for everything.
