Getting the signature required is ALWAYS checked off when we ship...had a big
order to someone in California 'disappear'-client said it never arrived. UPS
produced a 'facsimile' of the signature to us, the name matched their warehouse
man...company had to pay up...he was also fired...had taken the goods for
himself!
This was novelty printed goods or something we had done...without the signature
we'ed be screwed. Also had shippers claiming WE owed money, we asked for proof
of delivery...since there is only 2 of us here it was easy to point out WE
never signed for it...UPS tracked it and it wasn't even in the right
STATE...was delivered to some other company that was sitting on it because they
didn't know what it was!
So for the extra bucks...go for proof of delivery/signature!
