We recommend that for small badge orders our customers use the
dissolvable backing used for making lace, which is hooped.
On top of this backing, use a poplin as an appliqu=E9, and to add
stiffness use a couple of layers of cutaway underneath using appliqu=E9
technique also.
One the tack down stitch has been made for the appliqu=E9, cut away the
excess poplin and cutaway backing, then have the machine do the satin
edge stitching.
Once finished, wash away the dissolvable backing

Hope this helps

Subject: [amayausers] Patch

Made a patch out of 2 layers of heavy cutaway. Edges
are slightly ruffled, not to my liking. Do not have
any badgemaster. Anyone have some ideas what to use
for 10 little patches?
Thanks
