Hi Caren,

Thanks for your suggestion. I currently use Wilcom's EMB TruSizer which
gives me the option to view and resize exp, dst and emb files. Coats and
Pulse also make free viewers that work quite well.

Unfortunately, I have 6 years of OFM files and like to keep them at
hand, so saving them in exp would be a long process.

Best regards,

Dean,

Before I started doing embroidery, I used a program put out by Madiera
called Madiera Color Definition Package. This program allowed me too
open my embroiderer's tapes, change thread colors, view it on different
backgrounds, etc. I just pulled it up and learned that it will not view
ofm files, but if there are only certain files you need to view with
your client, you could export those to .exp because it does list Melco
.exp as an acceptable file extension. It was very inexpensive - I think
we purchased it from the Madiera web site, and the rest of our staff
uses it on a regular basis since they don't have digitizing software.

Hope I understand what you're trying to do and that this information
might help - if you don't mind exporting your files first... Caren-

Does anyone know of a viewer that will read OFM files? I need to travel
with my notebook and need to bring up all these old ofm files?

I get fingertip towels from Terrytown. They are
really nice! And they have a large color selection.
Haven't checked out their regular towels but I'm
guessing the quality will be similar to the fingertip
towels.

Also, their shipping is reasonable and quick (they are
in CA and I'm in OH).
