Found that knot site-that's neat! Easy way for me to train other scout
leaders for knot work!
Looks like the knot for splicing the thread is called the 'sheetbend'
knot-shows it very cleanly. I've always called it a sheepshank-might be an
old colliquialism from 'the stone age'...
but that's the knot.
