Hello all,

Does anyone know a remedy for an online marketplace such as eBay holding your 
funds hostage because you haven't produced an SSN, outside of filing a lawsuit 
or writing a formal complaint from scratch? They have threatened to withhold a 
portion of the funds to pay to the IRS if no SSN is supplied, and do not offer 
a choice of not having an SSN.
