Falsh drives certainly do the job and are the most portable.
Also, they are the easiest to lose or misplace and tend to be viewed as a 
temporary storage medium rather than a permanent one.
So if Marcus wishes to take his files with him, a flash makes sense and 
are nice to have around.
But for more permanent back-ups, I personally prefer a true external 
drive.
