Tek Talk Archives description:

Most people know that you can back up your files but Windows has ways of
backing up information that are not well known. In my presentation, I
shall discuss backing up Internet Explorer Favorites as well as how to
back up the addressbook from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail. I
shall also discuss how to restore these items. If you loose your
Favorites or your addressbook from the programs where they are used, you
will be able to restore them. You will also be able to place them on other
computers if, for example, you upgrade to Windows 7.

I shall also discuss and demonstrate a little known feature of Windows 7
and Vista called Shadow Copy. If you accidentally delete a file you
haven't backed up, Shadow Copy may allow you to get the file back. If you
didn't know about this valuable feature, the file might be lost.
