Tek Talk Archives description:

In this presentation, Larry Lewis, President of Flying Blind LLC will 
discuss
the topic of social networking, accessibility, and why  more individuals who
are vision impaired should emerge themselves in this virtual online means of
communication.

Lewis will use the three articles which he is writing for AccessWorld as a
blueprint for describing the process of social networking, outline the
obstacles faced by those of us who are vision impaired,and discuss desktop
and mobile strategies for taking advantage of all of the rich features that
this cloud-based means of interacting with others has to offer those of us
who are vision impaired.

Lewis will provide advice for using social networks to empower one's
educational and vocational pursuits as well as how to use social networks 
for
recreational purposes.
