I have successfully updated my Zen Stone and find it much faster to boot up now, which is a great improvement. During the updating process, I had to re-format the player to allow the update to take place. I wasn't surprised about this, but as no-one else had mentioned this before, I thought I would just alert anyone thinking of updating that you should be prepared for this and should back up anything which you might want to copy back to the player once the firmware has been updated.
