Hi Billy,

It's a pity you didn't just buy the CD version in the first
place. (Smile)

George.

James, the book in question called Persuader by Lee
Child, has been converted from the .ogg format.
The book in question has been downloaded from an
audio book website.
        Thanks for the advice.
        Billy

                Hi Billy

Out of interest, how did you end up with
such a big 'audio book'? Are you talking about a Daisy
Audio book like the ones distributed by RNIB or a ocmmerical
book that you have converted to mp3? How did you get hold
of the book in the first place - did you receive it on CD?
George is right - the Victor Classic won't play DVDs, so
your alternatives are:
                - Put it on a DVD and listen to it on your
PC with Diasy Playback software or a regular mp3 player
                - Split it over two CDs and listen to it on
your PC or your Victor Classic.

                James

                        Hi Billy,

I don't know the Victor, but suspect
it's not a DVD player.

Your only alternative is to split
then up between two or more CD's.

                        George.

George, it is the size of the files
then. If I burn them to a DVD Disk, can I play them on my
Victor Classic?.

                        Hi Billy,

                        NO WONDER IT WON'T COPY!!

A CD-RW will not hold this amount of
data. 650 - 700 megabytes is about absolute tops.

You will either have to split the
files up into two smaller lots, and burn those, or
alternatively look into burning them to a DVD.

                        George.

Andrew, the full size of the 12 mp3
files is: 1.11 gb.

                        Hi,

I repeat, how large is this book in
megabytes?

                        Andrew.

hi guys, although I 've upgraded my
CD/DVD Combi drive, to a DVD Burner. I'm
still getting the same problem when
trying to burn Audio Books to disk. I'm
                        getting the following error: There
is not enough space to burn this
                        compilation onto this disk. Please
insert another disk, that provides more
                        space. Disk required for the
compilation: CDRW.
Disk type in the recorder, empty..
At this time, I'm using CDRW disks.
The Audio Book in question, has 12
MP3 files, and I was trying to burn them
                        as data.
