Hi. I can type quite well on the iPad in landscape mode. This is because the
keys are well spaced out and my fingers always hit the right letters. I only
wish I could type this comfortably on my iPhone 6 Plus.

Hello,
Actually, I can type faster than most people on the touch screen, thanks to
uncontracted touch braille. This is one of the reasons I'm intending on
sticking with apple.

It's not just a question of typing speeds. It's the flexibility of the touch
screen that does it for me. No more having to remember those wretched
keystrokes.

I have very fast speed on the Nokia Talks Phones. Now I know we will not
wish to get in to a discussion on the Nokia Talks phones as they are in
decline so I am happy to leave the thread at this.

I would never go back to a keypad phone. The touch screen is just so much
more versatile.

I did not use a phone with speech until 1997 and then I only had the Nokia

where they put on Talks free of charge. Now of course Talks has come to
the end of its development and Nokia phones not far behind. This is very
disappointing. I felt I had to force myself to the iPhone and there is no
doubt that it is like carrying a hand-held computer around with me but good
that I am with gestures and residual vision, I miss the Talks Nokia phone
every day. still have a few Talks phones, Nokias with qwerty but now even
web browsing is getting so slow on these and I cannot access my e-mails any
more on them. Can only use now for phone calls and texting but I think it
will be with me forever!!!

You go girl, I wouldn't give up mine for the world. It seems we with
talks, and tactile keyboards sale through tasks some others have
difficulty doing with touch screens.

I love my talks phone with QWERTY.

I am one such. I still use a phone with the talks screen reader on it.
