I would never go back to a keypad phone. The touch screen is just so much more
versatile.

I did not use a phone with speech until 1997 and then I only had the Nokia 3212

put on Talks free of charge. Now of course Talks has come to the end of its
development and Nokia phones not far behind. This is very disappointing. I
felt I had to force myself to the iPhone and there is no doubt that it is like
carrying a hand-held computer around with me but good that I am with gestures
and residual vision, I miss the Talks Nokia phone every day. still have a few
Talks phones, Nokias with qwerty but now even web browsing is getting so slow
on these and I cannot access my e-mails any more on them. Can only use now for
phone calls and texting but I think it will be with me forever!!!

You go girl, I wouldn't give up mine for the world. It seems we with talks,
and tactile keyboards sale through tasks some others have difficulty doing
with touch screens.

I love my talks phone with QWERTY.

I think there will always be a need for specialist companies. Catering to
us blind, or deaf-blind patrons. Because, there will always be people who
don't feel comfortable using these new fangled touch screens. I am one
such. I still use a phone with the talks screen reader on it.
