Hi Terry

That is correct, however when I put them back, I put them back in sequence,
usually big to small and by type, E.G. ring, open, then socket.
Provided that you are meticulous, this should work.
The other way, albeit very expensive, would be to buy a complete Snap On set
with purpose made recesses in the cabinet!

Hi David

I like the sound of that, but does it also depend on you only taking one
item out at a time, so you then know the empty space on the wrack that it
should go back into?

Do you have a method of taking several out at a time, then knowing the
correct place for them to go back?

Any help appreciated.

Hi Terry

I have a home made rack out of ash which has three places for each size of
spanner. A peg onto which I put the socket, a slot (open at the front) with
the open ended spanner hanging through it, and a peg onto which the ring
spanner hangs.
Above these I have labelled with dymo tape in Braille.

These are replicated for the metric spanners also.

I was kinda hoping that someone might say if the labels provided may be
suitable for my needs?

Have you thought about using the RNIB penfriend.
