I can confirm that Radio Downloader is still working with the BBC site. I tried
it last night and it's not a bad app really. One can even subscribe to a
program and Radio Downloader will download future episodes automatically. A
hint, this app need quite a bit of virtual mouse cursoring, at least with Jaws,
but it is accessible alright. The link to download is

  Greetings,

I tried something else, I ok'd the error which put me back onto the second
window. I pressed the check program data which gave me:

  Radio DL
  File View Tools Help
Programme ID b00wh70w Check Programme Data
  Title Russell Davies: 12/12/2010 Get MP3Duration 01:00:00
Description Russell celebrates the art, craft and inspiration of the popular
  song. This show
features recordings from Frank Sinatra, Dionne Warwick, Benny Goodman and
  Cab Calloway. Hide Info
  Detailed Information
Channel Name BBC Radio 2 Type Radio Programme
Broadcast Date 9:00pm Sunday 12 December File Size
  10:02pm Sunday 19 DecemberAvailable Until
  Stream Identifier b00wh6w5
  Exit
Click either 'Get MP3' or 'Check Programme Data'

I then as described, clicked the get mp3 by pressing alt g and via the jaws
cursor clicking on it, no action, so where, how, what is happening? surely,
I ought to see some kind of progress bar shouldn't I?

From Colin Howard, who lives near Southampton in
Southern England and though down here, Christmas may be
"Green" in terms of a respite from the cold weather,
won't be "Green" because his favourite news reader
Charlotte Green, who reads the news on Radio 4 is
likely to be missing into the New Year, because she
has a problem which may result in her needing
attention to her hip. Colin is really missing his
Green voice and hopes we shall have her back soon.
Meanwhile, Colin hopes all will have an enjoyable
Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
