Hi Alison
I am sure the lovely George can come up with the exact keystrokes, but I
took the long way round and went to the Insert menu, then Header and Footer,
then Footer, and found out how to insert a page number in the footer from
there by just tinkering. I agree this is more time-consuming than direct
keystrokes, but I don't know every Word command unfortunately so I just go
hunting!
