Yes, but not if you use vista or 7. They are more than 10gb. Can you confirm it won't take more than 1 dvd?

Hi Richard, assuming that you don't use your c drive for storage, and just have OS and programmes, office, nero etc on it it will fit on one. I've never needed more than one DVD.John.----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Godfrey-McKay" <richard@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, September 12, 2010 10:32 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: disk imaging softwareThis looks very interesting.Could anyone give me an idea of, assuming you use compression, how much datayou can get on to a Cd or DVD? Obviously I want to use as few disks as possible. How many am I likely to need, assuming I take all the data off first? The link is http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/ There's an audio demo, although I'll need to check out where, as it's a long time since I listened to it. It's not a very good demo, due to the presentation style of the guy doing it, and also his lack of knowledge ofthe programme, but it at least serves to demonstrate that a blind user caneasily create and restore an image. One thing I would mention is that, although you can save the image on another drive were you to do that restoring it would need sightedassistance, since in a pre windows environment there would be no speech. Ifhowever you image to DVD it's a piece of cake. I'm not just looking for freeware, as longas it does what I want it to do. Martin john coley recently said:-Martin, Norton Ghost isn't accessible. I use Image For Windows, which is accessible and easy to use. It isn't free, but you won't find a free solution.
