The English site does list loads of shops when you do a book comparison,
and
some of them may send abroad. The URL is:
http://www.bookkoob.co.uk/
Don't just do a quick search, as this will give you all the formats of a
book. Go to the advanced search link, and when you are in there go to the
format combo box and choose audio. What this site shows you is all the
commercial online shops, so I am sure there will be a few who don't mind
sending abroad.

The site is all in French, but if you are fluent in that language you may

able to find stores in France which meet your needs by asking for price
comparisons on the above site.
Also, you say you have an account with Play.com, but what about
Amazon.com?
I believe they are worldwide, and their prices are very good.

I would like to purchase some audio books on cd.
Are there any recommendations for good reliable suppliers, preferably

I am in France and it is very hard to find suppliers that will ship
