Hi Ray

That looks very good but I am only on a dial up connections hence, I'd either have to borrow or purchase talking books.

One source, if limited at the moment, is:

http://www.silksoundbooks.co.uk

At present they're recording older classics, but looks very much as if
they'l move into more modern books soon. they're very competitive as
each unabridged book is priced at £7.50. It is a sort of co-operative
business model, and a download only service.

I presume Audible in the UK isn't an option.

Cheers,

Hi

I would like to purchase some audio books on cd.

Are there any recommendations for good reliable suppliers, preferably
ones
that are reasonable in price too.

I am in France and it is very hard to find suppliers that will ship
outside
the UK, does any one know of a supplier that will ship abroad.

I already have an account with play.com.

Lastly, when I am doing a search in google, how do I narrow down the
criteria to search for suppliers of audio books in Europe only not
world
wide?
