Hi George. Thanks for that. I followed your instructions and ended up at System Protection, but all I come across in there is a box asking "How much disk space is required". I still cannot find anything concerning turning the Restore function on or off. Am I doing something wrong?
Very best wishes. Andy.----- Original Message ----- From: "George Bell" <george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Any, My sincere apologies. It's the "System Protection" Tab, not the "Advanced" tab you need to look at. So, Control Panel, System, Advanced System Settings, then System Protection Tab. Sorry again. George. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andy Sent: 22 July 2008 19:58 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Unable to delete messages from Windows Mail Hi again George. I followed your instructions and got to Start up and Recovery settings but still cannot see anything about turning the Restore function on or off. Can you please check once again on your system to see if I'm near target. Best wishes. I sorted my problem last night, but did what you suggested me do this morning. I typed System Restore and although I did gettothe system restore facility, I still could not see a box to turn itoffor on. I'm pursuing this as I really wish it to be turned on. Best wishes. Thanks for your assistance but I'm using VISTA. Sorry, I should have made that clear in my message. I think that VISTA in many instances is very similar to XP, just that everything's in differentplaces. Thanks again. I've been unable to delete a number of messages fromWindows Mail. Ivisited my message store and deleted the store as wellasmy in-box, buton re-boot, JAWS announces Microsoft Mail, StorageRecovery, and gives meall the messages back. I've attempted to delete thesemessages a numberof times, but they just keep on multiplying. A list member from Blind VISTA advises me to turnWindowsRestore off, undertake the task, then turn it back on again. I've a couple of questions; 1. Can anyone tell me how to turn Windows Restore off. 2. Can anyone tell me how to delete and re-installWindows Mail, and3, Can anyone shine any light on why when I want todelete a message,Windows is saying, "An unknown error has occurred" Fingers crossed that someone can come up with theanswer. Thanks in advance.
