The LG TV doesn't allow recording and watching another channel.
My first choice was to find a twin tuner
recordable freesat box, My samsung TV is just
fine but my second choice was to replace the TV
with a twin tuner recordable freesat TV. and then
get rid of the TVonix box which has always had
issues with the software, because I'm sick of
hearing my wife saying the box doesn't work properly and to get a replacement.

Thanks for the info, such a shame, back to the searching for
something that may not exist. As the song goes I still haven't found
what I'm looking for.
Maybe Mo's development of a freesat/freeview recordable box is soon
on it's way.
