I'm not sure whether this stuff from the RNIB is still available. At one stage it was a "No-no", but perhaps they did continue to produce it. I haven't needed to look in a good long while now. I use a normal tube of glue of some kind, possibly Bostick, but I guess even superglue could be used. The other thing I have used which seems even more robust is a nail varnish typed blobber which I think I got from the RNIB. You need sighted help to squeeze this out on a particular target and let it set fast. I have never personally known this stuff come off once applied. Smaller by far with 2 dials. One for the levels such as defrost, medium, high, other is the timer which we got someone to put bumps on. The levels dial is click settings. And all for the price of £59. We are considering looking for a replacement elsewhere and not necessarily a speaking model. Anyone out there found anything they're using with beeps, or just the old dialer that you have to time individually? Can anyone advise is Cobalt the best supplier or do we in the UK have anyone else that supplies the same product at a more reasonable price?
