Occasionally, people do report this problem with their boxes. A factory reset can sometimes help to resolve the issue, This option is available in the service menu. This will not erase your recordings. Give that a try and let us know if it works.

My TVONICS recorder seems to have developed a strange problem in that it will no longer make scheduled recordings.
It goes through the motions saying "creating a timer..." and "... scheduledfor recording" but no recording is made. Instant recording works fine so I am inclined to think that there is a problem with its internal clock/timer.
Has anyone come across this problem and know of a fix for it?
