Hi Gary,

I’ve also had this problem, and after the scheduled recording fails, I also 
seem to loose the talking features. Unplugging and re-starting seems to resolve 
the problem temporarily.

It goes through the motions saying "creating a timer..."  and "... 
scheduledfor recording" but no recording is made.  Instant recording works 
fine so I am inclined to think that there is a problem with its internal 
clock/timer.


Has anyone come across this problem and know of a fix for it?
