I had that experience recently. It always seems to me that RNIB systems cause calls to be longer than they should be.

I don't use it, other than to browse and sort out what I want and then I phone them up but that's another pain, sometimes they don't give you the option to queue, you just get cut off and have to keep trying again as they tell you their lines are busy, for people who still pay for their calls, which is most if not all in this case as its a local number you're paying to connect every time you try, it wants stopping

They're online shopping system is rubbish in my view. They expect you to create an account to buy the goods, which is fair enough, but there's no way to manage your account afterwards. I remember a couple or so years ago that I had to create a new account just because I couldn't retrieve my old details. Just my thoughts.

Subject: [access-uk] RNIB online shop

Hi,

Have just used the online RNIB shop and purchased a few products. Strangely
I can't find any way of logging off and, even though I have received an
email confirming receipt of my order, the items are still in my basket?
Should I be concerned about this?

If anyone from RNIB could advise me whether this is correct I would be
grateful.

thanks.

David
