Hi Pele,

I just wanted to confirm what has been stated about the Panasonic Cordless
phones.
That is, the handset does announce the incoming call independent of the base
whether the contact is saved or not.

I originally purchased this handset for my parents, and was not aware of the
TTS features.
The setup of the phone does require sighted assistance, but when it's done, the
names are announced correctly.

Also, the set I bought my parents does have an answering machine, does allow
dual calls, and the TTS can be enabled/disabled on individual handsets.

I hope you are happy with the handset when/if you get it.

Kind regards,

Niall
